Crystal Springs Baptist Camp in Medina, ND
Going into 6th grade - 2025 Graduate

Every year, students from our district get an opportunity every young person should have in their lifetime- summer camp! Not only do we get to play crazy games, go zip-lining, and go tubing around a lake, but we are challenged to learn more about who God is and what He says of us too. It’s a week of building strong bonds with other students and loving adult leaders from across Prairie Lakes as well as being encouraged to take the next step in our faith, whatever that means for each student individually. Check out more information about camp here then go register! We can’t wait to see you this summer!

Camp Theme 2025

Before Jesus, people focused on rules and worldly success instead of truly loving God. When He came, Jesus showed us that following God is about grace, freedom, and relationship, not just rules. What misconceptions might we have that Jesus wants to challenge? This year we will dive into the book of Mark to take a look at what Jesus ACTUALLY says.

Camp Speaker

Brady Braatz

We are excited to have Pastor Brady as our speaker this year. Pastor Brady is Minnesota-grown and now lives in Olethe, Kansas serving as university chaplain at MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Teen Camp 2025 FAQs and Guidelines

When and where is Camp?  Crystal Springs Bible Camp in Medina, ND.  July 14th-18th, 2025.

Who is camp for?  Camp is for students who are heading into 6th grade to students who just graduated as of 2025.

Why should I go to Camp?  It is a fun place to encounter Jesus, experience fun activities like ziplining, dodgeball, and the lake, and make new friends.

How do I become an adult counselor?  Please see camp sponsor requirements in the Camp Church Leader Guide. This guide was sent to all lead pastors of churches in the district. Camp sponsor forms must be submitted by June 1. Sponsors need to be 22 years or older at the time of camp.

Do you have to attend a Nazarene Church to go to camp?  No.  We encourage any students and friends to come.

What are the living quarters like? At Crystal Springs Baptist Camp there are two large dorm-style buildings: one for guys, one for girls. In each room there are bunk beds for 12-14 people to include your adult sponsor and your friends. This will be your team for the week you will compete in activities with.

Can I request to be in a cabin with all my friends? You can list one friend you would like to room with. Room assignments can be complicated but we will do our best to put you on the same team as your request.

What do I do with my medications? All medication must be turned into the retreat nurse during the registration check-in. Please leave medication in original packaging and include any special instructions on a paper with the students name and church listed.  Items that students can keep on hand: subscription creams and face washes, inhalers, epipens. The student will let both their cabin counselor and the nurse know if they have any of these items with them.

If you have more questions, email our Camp Director Olivia Johansen at oliviadjohansen@gmail.com.
